“I’ve never read anything that was published in a newspaper before, so I don’t know what you did,” said William P. Dowsett, a physician at the University of Michigan who specializes in men’s health. “The medical profession was not going to pay for a new drug for erectile dysfunction.”
The drug Viagra is approved for use by men, but the drug’s manufacturer, Pfizer, has been accused of concealing the facts. The drug is also used for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension and high blood pressure, the drugs that Pfizer sells in the United States and Canada.
The FDA has not approved a similar drug for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, but the drug is already on the market and the drug is not yet available yet. The drug works by dilating the blood vessels to improve blood flow to the penis. In the United States, it’s sold under the brand name Viagra. The drug is approved in 2023 and is still under investigation by the FDA and the National Institutes of Health, the FDA said.
“The FDA is not in the business of approving drugs for human use,” Dowsett said. “It has always been the FDA’s business.”
